Accounts Senior / Practice Accountant (Accountancy in Alton, Hampshire

Job Description An independent accountancy firm is looking to add an experienced Senior Accountant to its growing team. This is a varied role within a smaller practice, offering the chance to work closely with clients and Partners rather than being restricted to one area of accounts. Alongside your core accounts responsibilities, there will be opportunities to gain exposure to tax, management accounting and wider advisory work. Job Type: Perm 25 days' holiday ~ Hybrid and flexible working ~ Preparing statutory accounts and year-end accounts Preparing corporation tax computations and supporting personal tax work Producing management accounts and financial information for clients Helping clients with day-to-day accounting queries Building your knowledge across accounts, tax and advisory services ACA or ACCA qualified, or nearing qualification Previous UK accountancy practice experience Strong accounts knowledge Good understanding of corporation tax, with personal tax exposure advantageous An interest in developing management accounting skills Confident using Excel and able to pick up new software Refer a friend If this job is not of interest to you, but you know a friend or colleague who may be interested, recommend them to us and receive a minimum of £100 in vouchers if we assist them in securing a permanent role and a minimum of £25 in vouchers if we place them in a temporary assignment.
