Urgent requirement for an experienced Practice Accountant to join an established accountancy firm on a temporary basis. About The Role:
You will join the practice team in an all-round capacity, working across accounts and tax for a varied client base. The role will involve preparing and reviewing assignments, dealing directly with clients and providing support across a range of accounting and tax matters. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is already comfortable working within a UK practice environment and can manage their own workload with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients
- Review accounts and associated working papers
- Prepare and review personal and corporation tax returns
- Deal with accounting and tax queries from clients
- Liaise directly with clients to obtain information and resolve queries
- Manage a varied portfolio of client work
- Ensure assignments are completed accurately and within deadlines
- Support the wider practice team where required
The successful Practice Accountants will have:
- Solid UK accountancy practice experience
- Qualified or QBE status
- Strong CCH experience is essential
- Broad knowledge across accounts and tax
- Experience preparing and reviewing accounts and tax work
- Confident dealing directly with clients
