About The Role
The role of Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper is to work in a team to support these clients and reports to the Accounts team manager and involves:
- Bookkeeping client accounts, managing the data capture process and bank statements, through a variety of methods from manual posting to automated data interfaces.
- Performing the reconciliation of bank records.
- Working closely with our accountants, to sign off on client records on a daily or monthly basis.
- Assisting in the preparation of wealth reports, financial reports, performance reports, expenditure analysis and management accounts, depending upon the client.
- General administration of accounts for clients, including cash flow analysis and raising payments.
- Day to day filing and archiving.
About You
It is anticipated the successful Assistant Accountant or Bookkeeper will have gained previous experience in an accountancy firm, financial services organisation, legal, outsourcing or business services. You will have proven experience in a bookkeeping, accounting or investment administration role and have excellent communication and time management skills. AAT or a similar qualification is desirable but not essential.
