About The Role:

You will combine your AAT studies with practical experience across both accounts and audit. Working alongside experienced members of the team, you will gain an understanding of how different types of businesses operate and how accountancy services are delivered to clients. The role will give you a broad introduction to practice, with your responsibilities increasing as you develop your technical knowledge and confidence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts
  • Support audit assignments and complete basic audit testing
  • Prepare working papers and supporting schedules
  • Assist with bookkeeping and accounting tasks where required
  • Gain experience working with clients across different sectors
  • Assist with day-to-day client queries
  • Develop your understanding of accounting standards and audit procedures
  • Work closely with senior members of the team
  • Take on additional responsibilities as your experience develops
