The role will provide proactive, efficient and high-quality administrative support to fee earners and Partners in the Commercial, Technology and IP Team, helping them make effective use of their time and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day team operations.
This is a part-time position ideally working three days per week. We are open to discussing the precise working pattern with suitable candidates at interview.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Type, compile and produce reports, presentations and correspondence for fee earners and Partners
- Undertake projects or tasks on behalf of the team, using initiative and organisational skills to complete work with limited supervision
- Produce documents, including drafting, proofreading, formatting, numbering and hyperlinking
- Manage diaries and inboxes, including setting up events and meetings and monitoring inboxes
- Support billing processes, including producing WIP reports and invoices, and arranging payment of foreign agents’ fees
- Collate and file expenses and mileage claims for the team
- Support file management, including opening new clients and matters, running conflict checks and archiving
- Carry out technical administrative tasks accurately and efficiently, using relevant firm systems and processes
- Keep the team updated on important tasks, reviews and deadlines
- Act as a professional point of contact for clients and help maintain strong client relationships
- Undertake printing, scanning, posting and other administrative support for the team
- Undertake any other duties reasonably required to support the team.
