Yorkshire based (with travel) Perm - up to £95k plus package

Here at Howells we are working with a leading Construction Contractor to recruit a Pre Construction Manager to join their team in Yorkshire working on high-rise and high-risk housing refurbishment projects. We are looking for somebody who has experience within Social Housing Planned Works, Regeneration, and complex refurbishment schemes involving fire safety, structural remediation, and building compliance works.

The primary focus of this role will be to assist in the preparation of an outline project approach setting forth preliminary goals which include overall scope of work, design intent, preliminary budget, programme, compliance strategy, and assignment of project team structure and responsibilities.

Key Accountabilities will include:

  • Preparation and presentation of project pack to regional team
  • Review all project documents for completeness, compliance, and accuracy
  • Collate and provide draft construction programme
  • Produce and maintain a project risk register with a focus on high-risk building safety and compliance matters
  • Prepare and develop all stakeholder communication plans including resident liaison
