We are working with a leading Social Housing contractor to recruit an experienced Project Manager to deliver Social Housing refurbishment schemes within tenanted properties, including high rise blocks in Northampton. Projects are predominantly external works including Roofing and Cladding, with some internal works as well such as Kitchens and Bathrooms.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven Project Manager with a determined and motivated attitude, who is looking to progress with a market leader.
Daily Responsibilities:- Manage all day to day operations of the capital improvement programmes.
- Identifying discrepancies and risks and taking appropriate actions, reporting back to relevant stakeholders when this occurs.
- Work closely and meet with client and stakeholders on site to survey and complete property condition reports.
- Developing policies & procedures to support the achievement of new projects.
- Site visits to undertake inspections of works and/or liaise with trade operatives, tenants, contractors or statutory bodies to resolve any issues and ensure high satisfaction is achieved.
- Maintain Health and Safety and environmental management.
- Drawing up construction phase safety plans and ensuring the safe delivery set out within each plan.
- Understand and manage all client expectations maintaining good working relations.
- Complete project handover and ensure everything is defect/snag free.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within social housing planned works.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous experience delivering recladding projects / block recladding works.
- Knowledge of building safety, fire compliance, and relevant post-Gateway requirements.
- Relevant construction or project management qualification (e.g. HNC/HND, degree, or equivalent experience).
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, excellent leadership capabilities, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. You should be able to drive success while developing a high-performing team.
