Howells are working with a leading contractor operating within the property services, refurbishment and maintenance sector seeking an experienced Head of Bid Management to lead and develop a high-performing bid function. This is a strategic leadership role where you will be responsible for overseeing the full bid lifecycle, ensuring submissions are commercially robust, compliant and aligned with wider business objectives.

Working closely with senior operational and commercial stakeholders, you will play a key role in driving growth through successful tender activity across both public and private sector opportunities.

As Head of Bid Management, you will lead an established team and take ownership of bid strategy, governance, resource planning and continuous improvement. You will ensure the business maintains a consistent and professional approach to tendering while supporting the identification and conversion of high-value opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a successful Bid Management function
  • Managing bid strategy, governance and quality assurance processes
