Supply Chain Manager - Sub Contractors Location: Luton Salary: £45K - £60K + Benefits We are working with a leading contractor to recruit an experienced Supply Chain Manager to build and manage a reliable network of subcontractors supporting our reactive maintenance, planned works, voids, disrepair and specialist workstreams. You'll take ownership of sourcing subcontractors, onboarding them and managing ongoing compliance, ensuring the right suppliers are approved, fully documented and ready to deliver work across the business. Supply Chain Manager Responsibilities Source and recruit subcontractors by trade, location and capacity Manage the full onboarding and approval process Maintain the approved subcontractor register Monitor insurance, qualifications, accreditations and other compliance documentation Track expiry dates and proactively manage renewals and outstanding requirements Work closely with Operations, HSEQ, Commercial and Finance to secure approvals Monitor subcontractor quality, reliability, safety and overall performance Maintain supplier scorecards and support performance reviews Identify supply chain gaps and build additional subcontractor capacity Support new contract mobilisations and client audits Improve onboarding and compliance processes to reduce delaysSupply Chain Manager Experience You'll have previous experience in construction or property maintenance supply chains, with a strong track record of sourcing and onboarding subcontractors and maintaining accurate compliance records. You'll also bring: Strong subcontractor sourcing and relationship management skills Experience managing insurance, qualifications, accreditations and expiry dates Excellent document control and attention to detail Confidence challenging incomplete or non-compliant submissions Strong communication and negotiation skills Experience working with operational, H&S, commercial and finance teams Good Excel and supplier/document management system skillsExperience within social housing, reactive repairs, planned maintenance, voids or disrepair would be particularly advantageous. CIPS or another relevant supply chain, procurement or construction qualification would also be beneficial.
