Quantity Surveyor – Social Housing – Planned Maintenance & Voids\\nNottingham \\nPermanent \\n£50K all in \\n\\nWe are working with a leading Social Housing contractor to recruit an experienced and successful Quantity Surveyor to join their team delivering a planned maintenance works & voids contract in Nottingham.\\n\\nWe are looking for a proven commercial professional ideally with experience in Social Housing refurbishment programmes, ideally with knowledge of internal and external planned maintenance programmes with a comprehensive commercial understanding of subcontractor procurement and cost management, the CVR process as well as excellent client relationship skills.\\n\\nAs the Quantity Surveyor for our client, some of your responsibilities will include:\\n\\nControl all expenditure\\nReconcile cost/value reports & profit forecasts\\nOn-boarding of Sub contractors/suppliers\\nEnsuring value for money & financial assessments\\nManage day to day cost control & monitoring & reporting\\nProcess Sub contractor requests for payment via application & invoice\\nAttend project & company related meetings\\nEnsure timely cash flow management\\nMaintain & develop professional relationships with clients & customersEssential Quantity Surveyor Experience:\\n\\nExperience of planned maintenance & voids\\nDegree or other technical qualification\\nQuantity Surveying experience with a main contractor\\nStrong commercial awareness\\nProven track record delivering contracts on time and within budget\\nContractual awareness\\nNegotiating, communication & presentation skills\\nKnowledge of Supply Chain management\\nRICS / CIOB qualification – PreferredQuantity Surveyor Salary and Benefits:\\n\\nOur client is offering a very competitive salary of up to £50K and career progression.
