We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trader to join a busy maintenance team on a 16-week temporary contract, carrying out repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties across Cambridge. This is a varied, hands-on role where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs while providing excellent customer service to residents. If you are a reliable Multi Trader who takes pride in their work and can turn their hand to a range of trades, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance works in occupied properties
  • Completing a variety of repairs including basic carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating, patch plastering, and general maintenance tasks
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
  • Managing your own workload and daily appointments
  • Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach when working in residents' homes

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Multi Trader, Maintenance Operative, or similar
  • Experience working within social housing, domestic maintenance, or property repairs is desirable
  • Competent across a range of trades
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
