We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker to join a well-established social housing contractor covering the South East London area. This is a permanent opportunity for a skilled Groundworker with experience carrying out repairs and maintenance within occupied and void social housing properties.
The role offers a varied workload across reactive and planned maintenance, undertaking a range of external repairs and groundworks to residential properties and communal areas, including:
- Carrying out a variety of groundworks and external repairs
- Fencing repairs and replacements
- Paving, slab laying and pathway repairs
- Concrete repairs and reinstatement works
- Drainage repairs and maintenance
- Brickwork and minor masonry repairs
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Groundworker within the social housing, maintenance or construction sector
- Strong knowledge of fencing, paving, drainage and general external maintenance works
- Full UK Driving Licence, no more than 3 points
- Willingness to undertake a DBS check - with no unspent criminal convictions
