Job Title: Fire Stopper Location: London Salary: Competitive + Package Established in 1989, Our client is the UK\’s leading passive fire protection specialist, supplying a comprehensive range of third-party accredited survey, installation and compliance services to public and private sector organisations across the country. With offices nationwide, this is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking, modern construction business, that genuinely cares about it\’s people. Fire Stopper / Fire Stopping Engineer Duties: We are looking for candidates with previous experience working on Fire stopping/Fire Door projects: Install fire stopping to fire doors Small to large penetrations Use of ablative batts Reading site plans Working in flats/housing/care homes/commercial premises to include working in confined spaces Ensure all work is carried out to a standard that satisfies the customer, company, and accreditations (FIRAS) Consistently achieve agreed performance targets Keep the Passive Fire Protection Supervisor up to date on progress or potential delays Maintain cleanliness of provided vehicle Adhere to the company\’s quality procedures in all aspects of the job Act in a safe manner in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and requirementsFire Stopper / Fire Stopping Engineer Experience: NVQ level 2 in Passive Fire Protection FIRAS card preferred but not required Full driving license Good communication skillsYou will be working for a modern, forward thinking business; that believes the strengths, skills and personalities of their people are the key to the groups success.
