We are working with a leading social housing contractor who is looking to recruit an experienced Electrician to join their growing reactive maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established business that offers a competitive salary, long-term stability, and a consistent workload.
Working across occupied social housing properties, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations while providing an excellent service to residents. This role covers Luton, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Cambridge, so you'll need to be comfortable travelling across these areas.
- Carry out reactive electrical repairs, maintenance and installations within occupied social housing properties.
- Diagnose electrical faults quickly and complete first-time fixes wherever possible.
- Undertake electrical testing, inspection and remedial works as required.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
- Maintain company van stock and ensure materials are used efficiently.
- Work independently to manage your daily workload while supporting the wider maintenance team when required.
Proven experience working as an Electrician within social housing, domestic maintenance or reactive repairs.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
- 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
- Good knowledge of current electrical regulations and safe working practices.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
