We are working with a leading social housing contractor who is looking to recruit an experienced Electrician to join their growing reactive maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established business that offers a competitive salary, long-term stability, and a consistent workload.
Working across occupied social housing properties, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations while providing an excellent service to residents. If you're a qualified Electrician who enjoys fault finding, problem solving, and takes pride in completing work to a high standard, we'd love to hear from you.
This role covers Luton, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Cambridge, so you'll need to be comfortable travelling across these areas.
- Carry out reactive electrical repairs, maintenance and installations within occupied social housing properties.
- Diagnose electrical faults quickly and complete first-time fixes wherever possible.
- Undertake electrical testing, inspection and remedial works as required.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
- Maintain company van stock and ensure materials are used efficiently.
- Work independently to manage your daily workload while supporting the wider maintenance team when required.
Proven experience working as an Electrician within social housing, domestic maintenance or reactive repairs.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
- 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
- Good knowledge of current electrical regulations and safe working practices.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
