Here at Howells we are working with a leading contractor within the Social Housing sector to recruit a Disrepair Manager to join their team based in Croydon. As the Disrepair Manager, you will be responsible for end to end management and delivery of disrepair works across the contract, focusing on delivering great customer satisfaction and high-quality repairs for the residents. The successful candidate must have effective communication skills and experience of working within the Social Housing sector.

Duties:

  • Supervise and manage the disrepair maintenance technicians and contractors
  • Manage the inspection, maintenance and repair of properties in order to ensure that properties are repaired/maintained with a first time fix approach for Disrepair work within the targets set within the disrepair protocol or that have been established with the party issuing the claim
  • Supervision of the contract ensuring that all operatives are working efficiently and productively
  • Ensuring that suppliers/subcontractor works are carried out in accordance with the work sheets given and in a timely manner meeting all contract KPI targets
  • Liaising with the customers and dealing with any queries or issues which may arise
  • Ensuring works are completed on time and to a high quality standard
  • Ensure all client's expectations are achieved
  • Ensure that paperwork and reports are fully completed and submitted in-line with the Company procedure
  • Driving from site to site as part of the daily duties
  • Be jointly responsible for ensuring the work place is tidy and safe
  • To complete time sheets and work sheets and reports as required
  • Attend inspections where necessary
