Decarbonisation Manager City of London based (with travel) £70k – £90k + Car Allowance / Company Car We are working with a leading Planned & Regeneration Contractor to recruit a Decarbonisation Manager, overseeing the delivery of retrofit and decarbonisation projects across a large housing portfolio. This is a key leadership role, focused on ensuring full compliance with PAS 2030 and PAS 2035 standards, while embedding quality assurance and driving service excellence. You will lead the operational delivery of planned works, overseeing technical service provision, supporting bidding activity, and driving innovation in energy efficiency and carbon reduction. Responsibilities Include Technical Leadership & Compliance: Lead all retrofit and decarbonisation works to full PAS 2030/35 compliance Act as the in-house technical lead on energy efficiency measures and design Implement robust QA processes across retrofit activities Project Management & Operational Excellence: Manage multi-disciplinary teams delivering planned and cyclical works Drive performance against KPIs including delivery, compliance, and customer satisfaction Work with clients and stakeholders to ensure accessible and responsive services Commercial & Strategic Oversight: Support commercial teams with bid submissions and business development Monitor and manage project budgets, programme risk, and cost efficiencies Maximise productivity while meeting social value and sustainability targets Key Skills & Experience Proven experience in decarbonisation, retrofit, or energy-efficiency project management Strong knowledge of PAS 2030 / PAS 2035 standards Understanding of planned maintenance and housing regeneration contracts Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills IOSH Managing Safely in Construction (or willingness to obtain) Benefits Company Car / Car Allowance Discretionary Annual Bonus Scheme 26 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Enhanced Pension Scheme Private Medical or Healthcare Cash Plan Life Assurance & Accident Cover Flexible Working & Buy/Sell Holiday Options Volunteering Days & Professional Development Support Build your future in sustainable housing.
