We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker to join a well-established social housing contractor covering the Hastings area. This is a permanent opportunity for a skilled Groundworker with experience carrying out repairs and maintenance within occupied and void social housing properties. Due to the location of the works, candidates must live within approximately 10-15 miles of Hastings town centre.
The role offers a varied workload across reactive and planned maintenance, undertaking a range of external repairs and groundworks to residential properties and communal areas:
- Carrying out a variety of groundworks and external repairs
- Fencing repairs and replacements
- Paving, slab laying and pathway repairs
- Concrete repairs and reinstatement works
- Drainage repairs and maintenance
- Brickwork and minor masonry repairs
- Working on both occupied and void social housing properties
Proven experience as a Groundworker within the social housing, maintenance or construction sector is required, along with a strong knowledge of fencing, paving, drainage and general external maintenance works. A full UK Driving Licence is also necessary.
