Plumber Location: London & Surrounding areas £40,000 - £44,000 + Company Van & Fuel Card We are working with a Guardian Company who are looking for a skilled, practical and self-motivated Plumber to join their property team. In this role, you will split your time between project fit-outs on newly acquired buildings and reactive plumbing maintenance. You'll handle everything from full shower installations and pipework runs to leak repairs, basic drainage and rainwater downpipes, and you'll pick up the minor secondary trade work needed to finish a job properly rather than waiting on outside contractors. Every building you help fit out becomes affordable homes for young professionals, key workers and creatives, and every repair you get right the first time keeps those homes safe and comfortable for the guardians living in them. Duties Deliver the plumbing on project fit-outs, installing shower enclosures, trays, valves and electric showers, sanitaryware, sinks, toilets and tea point kitchens, and running, altering and extending feeds and waste lines in copper, push-fit and plastic, with every installation pressure-tested, water-tight and fully compliant. Support the Project Manager with pricing plumbing works, identifying the materials and costs needed for each job so they're built into the project budget. Respond quickly to reactive maintenance requests and emergency call-outs across London, diagnosing and repairing leaks, bursts and pressure issues, clearing and repairing waste traps, soil stacks and basic external drainage, and inspecting and repairing downpipes, gutters and rainwater goods. Finish jobs cleanly by carrying out minor secondary trade work such as silicone sealing, patch tiling, boxing-in and small wall repairs, leaving every site clean, safe and tidy, and lending a hand to the wider fit-out and reactive teams when workloads are heavy. Keep jobs and stock in order, updating task status, completion photos and materials, keeping your vehicle organised and stocked with core fittings and consumables, and keeping the Helpdesk Manager and Property Assistant informed so SLAs are met. Requirements Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing, or equivalent proven trade experience Installation experience: A track record installing shower units, sanitaryware and domestic or commercial pipework Drainage know-how: Hands-on knowledge of basic drainage, unblocking methods and downpipe repairs Multi-skilled background: The ability to carry out minor tiling, sealing and other secondary trade work to finish a job properly Driving licence: A full UK driving licence and confidence travelling between properties across London Bonus/Advantage: Experience working on cold water booster pumps, cold water storage tanks, and water cylinders Benefits: A competitive salary and performance based annual bonus 25 days off and your Birthday off Workplace Nursery Benefit Refer-a-friend bonus Refer-a-site bonus Regular team activities If you are interested in this role please apply or call Grace on (phone number removed)
