We are working closely with one of the UK's leading property maintenance and social housing contractors to recruit an experienced Plumber Multi Trader to join their established reactive maintenance team. With decades of experience delivering repairs and maintenance services to housing providers across the UK, our client has built an excellent reputation for quality workmanship, customer service and investing in their workforce. Due to continued growth and contract success, they are looking to expand their team with a skilled and customer-focused Plumber Multi Trader.
This is a permanent opportunity covering East London and Essex, carrying out reactive maintenance within occupied social housing properties. You'll enjoy a varied workload, long-term job security and the opportunity to work for a contractor with a strong pipeline of work and genuine opportunities for career progression.
Key responsibilities:- Carry out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties.
- Diagnose faults and complete first-time fixes wherever possible.
- Undertake a variety of multi-trade works including basic carpentry, tiling, patch plastering, painting and decorating.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Deliver excellent customer service while working in residents' homes.
- Accurately complete job reports using a PDA or mobile device.
- Manage your own diary and workload to ensure jobs are completed within agreed timescales.
- Proven experience working as a Plumber Multi Trader within social housing, domestic maintenance or reactive repairs.
- Strong plumbing background with the ability to carry out a range of additional multi-trade repairs.
- Experience working in occupied residential properties.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Competitive salary of £38,000 - £40,000.
