Are you an experienced Bid Writer looking for your next challenge? We're recruiting on behalf of a growing organisation for a talented Bid Writer to join an established team based in Bathgate. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-value tenders, producing compelling, high-quality submissions that help secure new business across the construction, energy and property services sectors.
Bid Writer role
As Bid Writer, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end bid writing process, producing exceptional PQQs, SQs and tender submissions while working closely with operational teams and subject matter experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality PQQ, SQ and tender submissions.
- Edit, review and proofread bid content to maintain a consistently high standard.
- Support continuous improvement by contributing ideas to enhance bid quality and win rates.
About You
We're looking for an organised and commercially minded Bid Writer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Bid Writer, Proposal Writer or Tender Writer.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Adobe Creative Suite experience would be advantageous.
- Experience within construction, energy, property services, maintenance, facilities management or related sectors is highly desirable.
