We are searching for an experienced children law / childcare solicitor. The successful candidate will join our busy children team based at our Rotherham office. An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our busy and successful children law team. Ideally, you will have a good knowledge of childcare law and have previous experience of conducting your own childcare caseload and advocacy. Children law accreditation is desirable but not essential. The role will be a combination of office, court and remote working.

Children Law Solicitor Responsibilities
- Managing a diverse caseload of often complex child law work.
- Provide written advice to the client, where necessary, managing the clientβs expectations.
- Holding a caseload of care and pre-proceedings cases; possibility of some private law children cases.
- Advising clients on child protection, care proceedings, special guardianship, private law proceedings, fostering and adoption.
- Attend court.
- Attend PLO meetings.
- Meet the commercial requirements of the company through effective and efficient case management and excellent client care.
