We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE in corporate law to join our team. What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct thorough due diligence investigations for corporate transactions, identifying potential risks and advising clients on mitigation strategies.
- Handle litigation issues such as disputes or claims, representing the client in court when necessary.
- Ensure the company operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, provide tailored legal solutions and maintain strong client relationships.
- Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and expand the firm’s corporate practice.
- Keep abreast of changes in corporate law and regulations and ensure that all processes adhere to current best practices and standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to corporate transactions and client interactions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Build up and run your own caseload of files.
- Manage a small team of Legal Assistants.
- Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as directed by your line manager or Director.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified solicitor with a valid practicing certificate.
- Minimum of 5 years of PQE in corporate law.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and clients simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate law and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record of managing complex corporate legal work.
