We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to join a well-established social housing contractor covering the Hastings area. This is a permanent opportunity for a skilled roofer with experience carrying out repairs and maintenance within occupied and void social housing properties. The role offers a varied workload, working across a range of roofing repairs while also undertaking associated maintenance tasks when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out a variety of roofing repairs and maintenance works
- Working on both occupied and void social housing properties
- Completing minor associated works such as guttering, fascia/soffit repairs and basic carpentry
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements
- Accurately updating jobs and completing reports using a PDA system
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Roofer within the social housing or property maintenance sector
- Experience working in occupied and void properties
- Competent in carrying out a range of roofing repairs
- Previous experience using a PDA or handheld device to manage workloads
- Full UK Driving Licence
