We are recruiting for skilled and experienced Engineers with experience of replacing Fire Dampers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of fire dampers in various commercial and industrial properties, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and industry standards.
- Perform fire damper inspections, testing, and certification in accordance with BS 9999 and other relevant fire safety standards.
- Fire Damper replacement.
- Install, maintain, and repair fire dampers in HVAC systems to ensure functionality in the event of a fire.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and identify any faults or issues, ensuring that fire dampers are in proper working order.
- Prepare detailed reports on all testing, maintenance, and repair work, including any remedial actions required.
- Provide on-site guidance to clients regarding fire safety and damper operation.
- Work closely with other fire safety professionals, HVAC engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of fire protection systems.
- Ensure full compliance with all health and safety regulations during the execution of work.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fire Damper Engineer or in a similar role within the fire safety or HVAC industry.
- Knowledge of BS9999 and relevant fire safety legislation.
- Strong understanding of fire dampers, HVAC systems, and air control systems.
- Experience in using fire safety inspection and reporting software.
- CSCS card holder (essential).
- Certification in fire damper testing and maintenance (desirable).
- Full UK driving license (required).
