Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Carpenter Multi Trader to join our team, carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance works within occupied social housing properties across the Essex area. This is a mobile role covering CO, CM and SS postcodes, so candidates must be comfortable travelling between properties throughout the working day.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out a range of carpentry repairs and maintenance works in occupied homes.
- Completing 1st and 2nd fix carpentry tasks including doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves, kitchens and general woodwork repairs.
- Undertaking additional multi-trade duties such as basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering and decorating where required.
- Diagnosing faults and resolving maintenance issues efficiently.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally and to a high standard.
- Delivering excellent customer service while working within residents' homes.
- Managing your own workload and completing jobs within agreed timescales.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Carpenter Multi Trader within social housing, maintenance, repairs or a similar environment.
