A fantastic opportunity to join a high-quality Tax Dispute Resolution team. Our client is a respected London accountancy firm that has built a strong reputation in the Tax field. Their Tax Investigations offering is core to the Private Client department's success and is widely recognised across the profession. Demand for their expertise continues to grow and the team is now keen to appoint an additional adviser at Manager level.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with leading tax investigations specialists to support a range of clients with their representations to HMRC.
- Manage a varied portfolio of tax investigation, tax dispute and tax disclosure cases, including agreeing strategies and fee structures.
- Draft reports and disclosures to HMRC and robustly defend clientsβ positions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience of tax investigation work, including HMRC enquiries, making disclosures and penalty mitigation.
- Strong technical grasp of UK personal taxation and be ATT, CTA or HMRC qualified.
- Previous experience of COP8/9 is desirable (though partners/directors will provide assistance in that area).
