Independently recognised for the quality of their Private Client Tax offering, our client advises UK and international HNWIs on all areas of their income and capital taxation. Their Personal Tax team is growing and keen to make a strategic appointment at Manager level.
You\’ll be an integral member of the team, performing an advisory-focused, client-facing role. You\’ll collaborate closely with well-known partners and manage junior advisers handling day-to-day compliance.
Your clients will include HNW business owners, serial entrepreneurs, wealthy families, family offices and trusts. Many are international with multi-jurisdictional aspects to their affairs. Experience of advising on remittance, domicile and residence is therefore important.
Responsibilities
Managing a portfolio of HNW clients as their key point of contact
Undertaking personal tax planning projects on areas including CGT, IHT, property-related issues, use of trust structures, extraction of wealth from businesses etc
Mentoring, managing and supporting junior team members
Identifying new client relationships and assisting in business development initiatives
Overseeing compliance work undertaken by more junior advisers
QualificationsIdeal candidates will be CTA / ACA qualified, with extensive UK private client tax experience. Some evidence of personal tax advisory work is important. Strong communication and client relationship management experience is essential.
The team is keen to support the incoming Manager with progression towards Senior Manager and Director grades. They offer hybrid working 2-3 days a week and foster a healthy work/life balance culture.
Salary will be dependent on experience, but is likely to be in the region £65k – £75k + benefits. Ref 5227
