Overview
We are keen to speak to CTA qualified personal tax Managers and top-end Assistant Managers, who may be interested in a new, advisory-focused role in Cambridge.
Responsibilities
- Advise HNW entrepreneurs, business owners, families, trusts and landed wealth on all areas of their income and capital taxes planning.
- Work closely with Partners, developing technical, managerial and business development experience in a friendly and supportive environment.
- Support the private client tax team with income tax, CGT and IHT planning for HNWIs (including the use of trusts) and advise on succession planning and, where appropriate, international personal tax considerations.
Qualifications
- CTA qualified; experience at Manager level or above in personal tax
- Strong technical grasp of income tax, CGT and IHT planning for HNWIs (including trusts)
- Experience advising new-money entrepreneurial private clients
- Experience or interest in succession planning and/or international personal tax (FIG regime, residence, etc.) valued
Details
The firm has adopted hybrid working and flexible hours, with homeworking possible 2-3 days a week. Salary will be dependent on experience, but is likely to be in the range £60k-£70k + bens. This is a super opportunity for a personal tax Manager to develop their career in a respected and supportive firm, offering genuine scope for progression to Senior Manager and Director grades.
