We’re working with one of London’s mid-sized accountancy firms, who have built a strong reputation in the private client field. They offer high quality work, swift progression, great work/life balance and the opportunity to have a voice. Many CTAs are attracted by the chance to be more than a face in the crowd and to build a name for themselves. Some are looking to position themselves for director and partner grades.
Our client advises an impressive client list of HNW entrepreneurs, business owners, international families, family offices and trusts. Many of their clients are international in nature. The Private Client Tax team is growing and keen to recruit a CTA Manager, to perform a broad-ranging, client-facing role:
- Provision of income and capital taxes planning advice to UK and international HNWIs
- Ongoing management of client relationships including identifying planning opportunities
- Assisting Partners with new client development and third-party networking
- Welcoming and onboarding new HNW clients
- Billing and WIP management responsibilities
- Overseeing junior advisers and the annual tax compliance process
The CTA qualification is a pre-requisite, along with extensive experience of advising on CGT and IHT planning issues, including those relating to residence, remittance and the FIG regime.
In return, you’ll be supported with your development towards Senior Manager grade and be given the responsibility and opportunity to grow as an adviser.
The firm encourages a healthy work/life balance and has adopted hybrid working 2-3 days a week. This is a supportive and sociable environment, with a strong track record of hiring and developing advisers from across the larger London firms.
Salary will be dependent on experience but is likely to be in the region £65,000 – £75,000 + benefits.
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
