Our client is a respected mid-sized London accountancy firm, that has built a strong reputation in the Private Client field. Their team is independently recognised for the strength of its expertise. They advise an impressive HNW client base including on and offshore trusts, estates, family office and probate work.
Their Trusts & Estates team is growing and is keen to appoint an experienced Trusts accountant at Senior Manager level. The role will involve overseeing a high quality portfolio of trusts, their accounts, taxation and administration. The incoming individual will manage a team of trusts professionals and ensure the annual compliance cycle is completed effectively. This will include reviewing complex tax returns and accounts, handling complicated administration issues and performing very much a client-facing relationship management role.
They will also work closely with directors and partners on ad hoc trust planning projects – creation, restructuring and cessation. The successful candidate is likely to be STEP qualified and will certainly have extensive experience of advising on trust taxation, accounts and administration. For the right person, scope exists to progress on to AD and Director grades.
The firm is modern and forward-thinking in its outlook. It is embracing agile working and offers flexible hours where required. Based in central London but offering homeworking two days a week if one wishes. Salary will be dependent on experience but is likely to be in the region £80k-£90k + bens.
