Our client has built a strong reputation in the private client arena and is independently recognised for their expertise in the field. They advise an impressive client list of HNW entrepreneurs, business owners, international families, family offices and trusts. Many of their clients are international in nature.
Their Private Client Tax team is growing and keen to recruit a Senior Manager, to perform a broad-ranging, client-facing role. The position offers high quality work, swift progression, great work/life balance and the opportunity to really make a difference. Many of the team were attracted by the chance to be more than a face in the crowd and to build a name for themselves. Some are looking to position themselves for director and partner grades.
Briefly, the role involves:
- Provision of income and capital taxes planning advice to UK and international HNWIs
- Ongoing management of client relationships including identifying planning opportunities
- Assisting Partners with new client development and third-party networking
- Welcoming and onboarding new HNW clients
- Billing and WIP management responsibilities
- Overseeing junior advisers and the annual tax compliance process
The CTA qualification is a pre-requisite, along with extensive experience of advising on CGT and IHT planning issues, including those relating to domicile, residence and remittance.
In return, you’ll be supported with your development towards Director grade and be given the responsibility and opportunity to grow as an adviser. The firm encourages a healthy work/life balance and has adopted hybrid working 2-3 days a week. This is a supportive and sociable environment, with a strong track record of hiring and developing advisers from across the larger London firms.
Salary will be dependent on experience but is likely to be in the region £80,000 - £92,000 + benefits.
