Do you have experience of working on HMRC enquiries / investigations? Our client is one of London’s prominent accountancy firms. Their Tax Dispute Resolution team handles high-end tax investigations work and offers an exciting career path towards Manager and Senior Manager grades. They are looking for a Tax Assistant Manager to work closely with the Directors and Partners on a broad range of tax investigation enquiry work.

Liaising directly with clients, you will assist with the day to day running of investigations, as well as preparing investigation reports and submissions to HMRC, ultimately ensuring satisfactory outcomes are reached for all parties.

Strong communication skills, combined with personal tax technical knowledge, are therefore essential. The successful candidate is likely to be CTA qualified (or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate experience of working on tax investigations, as well as a willingness and ability to develop their skills in that area. COP8/9 experience will be particularly valued.

You could be a private client tax professional with experience of tax investigations and looking to specialise in that field. Alternatively, you could already be working in a Tax Dispute Resolution team and be looking for the next step in your career.

Salary dependent on experience and qualifications but likely to be in the region £50,000 – £60,000 + bens.
