We are currently seeking a Building Surveyor with 2+ years experience to join our Billericay, Essex office. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate surveyor to join our professional, sociable and well-regarded team. The successful candidate will work across a variety of interesting and rewarding schemes, taking responsibility for client engagement and service delivery with the full encouragement and support of the wider team. For those working towards their APC, our experienced Chartered Surveyors are well-versed in RICS requirements and have a strong track record of supporting candidates through the process.

Due to the broad nature of the services that HCS offer, this role provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple disciplines within both residential and commercial sectors.

The Essentials

  • Min. 2 years' experience
  • Either L2 & L3 pre-acquisition surveys OR Specification Writing & Contract Administration (Preferably both)
  • Building Pathology and Defect Diagnosis
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Works well in a team and individually
  • Client service focused
  • Confident with IT, e.g. Outlook, Excel
  • Organised and motivated
