Overview
Our Trade Account Sales Developer is the first point of contact at the counters in our depots, building relationships with our customers. They have accountability to develop customer accounts by actively calling account holders periodically to keep them informed of current offers and to understand their current priorities. They assist customers while selling and upselling the company’s range of products and services and provide excellent customer service with extensive knowledge of Howdens products. Maintaining up-to-date product and industry knowledge is a priority to provide informed recommendations and assistance to our valued customers. Thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritisation and organisational skills as a Trade Sales Counter Person to ensure smooth operations at the trade sales counter.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with customers at depots and act as the first point of contact
- Develop customer accounts by proactively communicating current offers and priorities
- Assist customers with selling and upselling the company’s products and services
- Provide excellent customer service with extensive knowledge of Howdens products
- Maintain up-to-date product and industry knowledge to make informed recommendations
