Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers in a courteous, professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Maintain effective stock, adhere to health and safety regulations, and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Carry out general housekeeping duties, including stock rotation, cleanliness and tidiness, in compliance with H&S guidelines.
  • Conduct security and compliance checks on incoming stock and outgoing orders, focusing on accuracy.
  • Perform daily checks on forklift and other mechanical equipment, reporting any defects to the Depot Manager.

The Apprenticeship

Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 – Intermediate Apprenticeship. Training provided by our in‑house Learning & Development Team with support from external training providers. 15‑month programme, including a minimum 12‑month learning period and end‑point assessment. Apprentices without Level 1 English and maths qualifications will be supported to achieve this level before undertaking the Level 2 English and maths test.
