Our Field Based Business Developer is a crucial role within our growing business. In this role you will work to both open new accounts and build lasting relationships with existing account holders. There will be a daily necessity to build strong relationships with both existing and potential new account holders in order to consistently achieve and exceed targets. It is down to our Field Based Business Developers to ensure that their depot's account base continues to consistently grow while also working to meet the needs of existing account holders.
Responsibilities
- Open new accounts and build lasting relationships with existing account holders
- Consistently achieve and exceed targets by growing the depot account base and meeting the needs of existing account holders
- Collaborate with depot staff, including Kitchen Sales Designers and Depot Managers, to convert sales and achieve a higher sale per account and more frequent trading
- Actively participate in sales meetings chaired by the Lead Sales Representative to share best demonstrable practices with other Field Based Business Developers in the area
- Maintain autonomy to manage your own diary and workload day to day
- Win new business and grow the depot customer base while providing a great service to customers and maximising sales
