The Apprentice Warehouse Person role offers a unique opportunity to receive comprehensive on‑the‑job training and expert support from a leading training provider while pursuing a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship. The programme typically spans 12‑15 months.
Responsibilities- Engage with customers in a courteous, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
- Ensure effective stock maintenance, adhering to strict health and safety regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Maintain general housekeeping duties, including stock rotation, cleanliness, and tidiness, in compliance with Health & Safety guidelines.
- Conduct security and compliance checks on incoming stock and outgoing orders, with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Perform daily checks on the forklift truck and other mechanical equipment, promptly reporting any defects to the Depot Manager.
- Assist with the Trade Counter from time to time, learning to deliver exceptional service and build strong relationships with trade customers both in person and over the phone.
- Build skills in serving and selling to customers on the trade counter, ensuring customers receive their products in a timely and efficient manner.
- Gain product knowledge and develop the ability to advise customers on our kitchen, bedroom and joinery ranges, identifying new sales opportunities and helping to drive the growth of the depot.

Apprenticeship Details- Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 – Intermediate Apprenticeship.
- Training provided by our in‑house Learning & Development Team.
- Support from external training providers.
- A 15‑month programme, including a minimum 12‑month learning period and end‑point assessment.
- Apprentices without Level 1 English and maths qualifications will be supported in achieving this level before undertaking the Level 2 English and maths test for the end‑point assessment and apprenticeship completion.
