The Role: A key liaison between the client and the insurer for day to day claims administration, ensuring claims are administered in line with the expected standards, regulatory requirements and that an excellent service level is maintained.
What you’ll do:
- Manage and prioritise your workload, supporting senior team members while gradually taking on more independent responsibility.
- Lead assigned claims projects and contribute to wider team initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with insurers, clients, and internal stakeholders to support smooth claims handling.
- Prepare, present, and negotiate claims with insurers, ensuring clear documentation, accurate data, and timely updates for all parties.
- Maintain delegated authority contracts and ensure all activity meets compliance, regulatory, and internal standards.
- Keep clients informed throughout the claims process, resolving queries and ensuring a high‑quality service experience.
- Maintain accurate records, claims data, and management information to support reporting and internal processes.
- Collaborate with shared services teams and elevate issues appropriately.
- Stay up to date with industry, legal, and regulatory developments, actively developing your technical knowledge and coverage analysis skills.
- Represent the team in client and insurer meetings, helping to strengthen long‑term relationships.
