The Role
This role offers structured training and daily support to develop your legal and insurance skill set, enhance your understanding of the insurance market, and provide tailored training to improve your client skills and commercial awareness.
We’re looking for someone to help manage Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers and Crime insurance claims for Financial Institution clients (including banks, asset managers and insurance companies). You’ll act as a key point of contact for clients and insurers, working to support policyholders through the claims process. Your role will involve providing advice, resolving queries, and ensuring claims are handled smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work closely with clients, insurers, and brokers to handle sophisticated claims for large financial institutions, providing updates and answering questions.
- Handle your own claims and assist others on more sophisticated matters for nominated clients.
- Prepare substantive notifications to insurers, own the flow of information, and take a strategic approach to claims resolution to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients.
- Set up new claims in our systems, ensuring all information is accurate and well-organized.
- Prepare and review communications to help clients make informed decisions.
- Investigate issues that arise during the claims process and resolve them quickly.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders, attending meetings as needed.
- Support projects and collaborate with colleagues to deliver results that benefit our clients.

- Strong communication skills, confident in explaining sophisticated matters clearly and simply.

- Excellent organisation and attention to detail to handle sophisticated tasks.
- Resilience under pressure and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proactive and confident in solving problems and taking the initiative.
- Ability to develop balanced long-term relationships both internally and externally.
- A strong drive with a commercial mindset.
Qualifications and Experience
- No experience required full training will be delivered.
- A degree in any legal subject.
