What we’re looking for
- Strong experience within a UK FCA‑regulated environment
- Deep understanding of conduct risk and wider regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders
- Commercial, pragmatic approach to applying regulation within the business
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
- Experience within insurance / financial services preferred
What you’ll be doing
- Act as the dedicated Executive Compliance Business Partner to a Division within the UK&I Specialty business
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, embedding regulatory expectations into strategy, governance and decision‑making
- Develop and maintain the Division’s regulatory risk profile, ensuring clear visibility of risks, issues and emerging trends
- Create and deliver an aligned annual Compliance Plan and strategy
- Provide expert advisory support on key areas including conduct risk, Consumer Duty, Product Governance, SMCR and Operational Resilience
- Act as a trusted partner on strategic initiatives (e.g. restructures, acquisitions, integrations)
- Work closely with first and second line functions to ensure effective risk monitoring, reporting and remediation
- Deliver clear, practical guidance on regulatory changes, supporting the business to assess impact and implement improvements
- Support governance forums and senior leadership with regular compliance updates, insights and reporting
What qualifications we are looking for
- Strong experience within a UK FCA‑regulated environment, with deep knowledge of conduct risk, Consumer Duty and Product Governance
- Proven track record of partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders
- Experience working within compliance in insurance / financial services, with a commercial approach to regulation
- Good understanding of the FCA handbook and broader regulatory frameworks
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex regulatory concepts
- Analytical, solutions‑focused and able to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification (desirable)
