We are seeking an experienced Product Governance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will develop and maintain strong business relationships with Senior Management and key stakeholders. Your primary focus will be to ensure comprehensive understanding, interpretation, and application of regulatory expectations related to product governance obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Senior Management and stakeholders to support the business in meeting regulatory expectations.
  • Assist in the assessment and approval process for proposed new products and changes to existing products through the Product Governance Committee.
  • Embed product governance principles and practices within the business.
  • Develop and deliver training on relevant processes to enhance understanding and compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Information Requests, FVAs, Product Reviews/Approvals, Distribution Impact Assessments, and other related activities as directed by Senior Management.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory expectations regarding Product Governance, Consumer Duty & Fair Value assessments and the implementation of systems and controls across various business profiles.
  • Extensive experience working in a compliance role (1st/2nd LOD) within an Insurance Intermediary, Insurer or MGA.
  • Knowledge and experience in Commercial & Schemes products is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to build constructive relationships with business leaders and senior management.
  • Commercial awareness and focus on the application of regulation within the insurance broking industry.
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of insurance principles, products, and services.
  • Effective planning, organisation, analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in analysing complex data to synthesise meaningful insights is a requisite.
