Account Executive – Corporate & Commercial

We are currently searching for an Account Executive, Trade Credit who is passionate about delivering outstanding service, building positive client relationships, and has an inherent curiosity for the world of business. The role is ideal if you excel at transforming relationships and are driven to enable growth through creative solutions. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based from our Birmingham office, with travel to meet clients on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide relevant management information as needed for effective decision-making.
- Supervise and forecast renewal and new business activity to aid in planning and prioritisation.
- Conduct research and collect feedback from the market to progress development of new products and wordings.
- Seek opportunities to grow the book of business and expand market presence.
- Review client documentation to ensure accuracy and support the quoting process.
- Collate and communicate clients\\\’ needs to ensure appropriate marketing of the risk.
- Prepare and check market presentations to showcase offerings.
- Liaise with and advise clients, investigating and resolving queries to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Respond to market and third-party queries to maintain strong relationships.
- Produce high-quality market documentation with appropriate authorisations.
- Maintain up-to-date records on company systems to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
Requirements
- In-depth understanding of trade credit insurance.
- Experience working with commercial/corporate clients.
- Ability to develop new business and build a strong network of contacts.
- Highly numerate and literate with strong attention to detail.
- Strong and effective communication skills to engage with clients and relevant parties.
- Ability to work independently, with initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to achieve targets with excellent time management.
- Strong decision-making and analytical skills to drive outcomes.
