Howden is a student-led research and media platform dedicated to empowering students to research and analyse multidisciplinary topics and publish high-quality media. By fostering creativity and intellectual curiosity, Howden aims to help students build a standout portfolio for university, job, or other applications.

This is an unpaid, part-time role with a commitment of 2 to 3 hours per week. Your role would include researching, consolidating and writing a 150-250 word post for LinkedIn and other networking platforms, ensuring interesting and factually correct information. You are expected to contribute to the team, be active in responding to messages and respond well to feedback. You are also expected to maintain the Howden values, of producing quality work in a timely manner. Howden thrives on growth, so we are looking for driven, determined candidates who exemplify teamwork and commitment. Our team is here to support you, and in turn, we provide a platform for you to publish work to, which can be referenced in CVs and on your LinkedIn profile.

Qualifications

  • A willingness to be a contributory member of the team, getting involved and providing new ideas.
  • Enjoy researching and analysing information within STEM, Finance or Economics.
  • Proficient in English, both speaking and writing.
  • And one of the following:
    • Enrolled student at a UK or US University.
    • Graduate within 1 year of graduation at a UK or US university.
    • Degree apprentice at a firm in the UK.
