The Binding Authority Technician will provide technical and administrative support within the Binding Authority Operations team. Working as part of a specialist Binders unit, the role supports broking and operational colleagues in delivering high‑quality servicing to Coverholders and Underwriters. This is an entry‑level position and is ideal for someone starting a career in insurance. Full training will be provided. Over time, the role holder will develop the skills and knowledge required to manage Binding Authority servicing activities, including contract preparation, Coverholder compliance, bordereaux processing, and support of internal broking operations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the team with day‑to‑day servicing of Binding Authorities
  • Learning how to process premium and claims bordereaux
  • Maintaining accurate records and data across internal systems
  • Assisting with contract preparation, compliance checks and mid‑term adjustments
  • Communicating with Underwriters, Coverholders and internal teams
  • Helping with renewals and operational tasks across the business
