We are currently looking for an experienced Solid Surface Template Surveyor to join our dynamic team. Reports to: Solid Surface Installation Manager
What will you be doing as a Solid Surface Template Surveyor:
- Producing accurate template plans following standard drawing procedures
- Interacting with customers and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Ensuring all order details are captured accurately and entered into our CRM system
- Surveying site conditions to ensure safe and successful delivery/installation
- Liaising with our template support and technical teams
- Ensuring a “right first time” approach to all work surface installations
- Supporting continuous improvements in safety and operational efficiency
What do you need to qualify for the Solid Surface Template Surveyor role:
Knowledge & Experience:
- Proven experience in laser templating for solid surface worktops (essential)
- Background in trade, merchant, or construction industry
- Understanding of Health & Safety regulations related to machinery use
- Ability to accurately measure and template kitchen surfaces
- Experience with CAD systems (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret technical plans and drawings
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
