As an insurance broker, we work with a selected panel of insurers, making comparing multiple policies simple and easy. We provide a personalised service, focussed on getting to know our clients and what exactly they want from their insurance cover. Our continued growth has created several opportunities available across our Renewals Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for target driven confident and proactive people who are looking for a career within the financial services Industry. Sales experience is not essential. We are more interested in your objection handling, brilliant listening skills, your infectious enthusiasm, and your dedication to providing excellent customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity for University Graduates or School Leavers along with people working in the Retail Industry who are looking for a career in Insurance.

Contract Start July 2025. 6 Month Fixed Term Contract – If development goals are met – opportunity at the 6 months period to become a Permanent Renewals Adviser.

What we are looking for:

Responsibilities:

  • Obtaining renewal information and accurately updating systems with the information gathered.
  • Preparing and sending out client renewal letters via email, or post.
  • Working with colleagues and Insurers to ensure a high level of client retention.
  • Research up to date policy renewal information.
  • Retain existing business at policy renewal either with existing insurer or alternative.
  • Contact clients who have cancelled a policy or are in default and look to resolve any issues for them to keep their policy or convert into new sales.
  • Respond to queries from both clients and insurers in a pro-active manner.
  • Identify and respond to all up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Learn and retain detailed product knowledge.
  • Champion and drive a strong culture of compliance and regulatory principles such as Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).
  • Take responsibility for own personal development in terms of understanding the business, regulation and the insurance industry, acting in accordance with current regulatory procedures, keeping up to date with any changes and sharing this knowledge with colleagues.

6 Month fixed term contract. Ageas House - Gloucester. Hybrid - 3 days from home, 2 days in the office.
