We are looking for a Property Assistant Underwriter to complement our existing team that is spread across the south of the UK in various locations. As a Property Underwriter, you will be responsible for identifying and responding to the needs of the clients, ensuring we always deliver excellent service. About you:- You are currently working as a Household/ Private Client Underwriter or an Assistant Underwriter keen to progress your underwriting experience within the property sector – you will be responsible for underwriting within the confines of the delegated authority and where appropriate undertaking negotiations for risks that have been “flagged” for review.
- You have excellent attention to detail and decision-making skills– as you will be responsible for gathering, analysing and presenting reports, as well as using this data to make sound underwriting judgements based on the information available.
- You will communicate effectively and be able to take a complex subject and translate it into an understandable action, providing technical assistance and advice to colleagues.
- You will have a passion for delivering an excellent client experience. Our clients are at the heart of everything we do, and we need to ensure we operate in a fair, objective and impartial manner with absolute integrity.
- You will be highly organised, enjoy using your initiative and be able to manage your time effectively, as you will be planning your own workload to meet business priorities and timescales.
