Role Purpose
To provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the delivery of enterprise applications across the organisation. This role ensures that complex, cross‑functional technology initiatives are executed effectively, aligned with business priorities, and delivered to the highest standards of quality, scalability, and governance. The Enterprise Application Delivery Manager drives execution excellence, optimises delivery processes, and ensures that enterprise platforms evolve in line with organisational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery Leadership: Lead the end‑to‑end planning, execution, and implementation of enterprise application initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to agreed quality standards.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the enterprise applications delivery portfolio, prioritising work, managing dependencies, and ensuring alignment with strategic roadmaps.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with senior business leaders, product owners, and technology teams to define delivery expectations, manage risks, and support informed decision‑making.
- Process Optimisation: Continuously refine delivery methodologies, workflows, and governance processes to improve efficiency, predictability, and transparency across the delivery lifecycle.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure all delivery activities adhere to enterprise architecture principles, security standards, regulatory requirements, and change‑management controls.
- Team Leadership: Provide direction, coaching, and support to delivery managers, analysts, and cross‑functional project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Extensive experience managing large‑scale enterprise application delivery within complex organisations.
- Strong understanding of delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and enterprise‑level governance frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
