As a Telemarketer, you will help us drive new business opportunities.

As a Telemarketer, you will develop your insurance knowledge, giving you the foundation to launch your insurance career in broking, claims or underwriting. Please note this is a full-time, permanent opportunity. You will be based in our Croydon office and ideally be onsite for 2 days per week on average. During training, you will be required to come into the office Monday to Friday.
Overview:
- Interacting with potential clients via telephone and e-mail to promote the suite of insurance we offer.
- Attending conferences to help build our brand awareness and business opportunities.
- Promoting Howden product range to prospective and lapsed clients.
- Enter and update customer information in our database.
- Booking high-quality appointments for our executives to follow up.
- Educating prospects about who we are and the value we bring.
- Building a strong pipeline of leads.
- Compile meeting notes and file recordings.
About you:
- You will be tenacious and enjoy working towards targets as you will be speaking with clients to develop new business meeting and generated opportunities for the Account Handlers.
- You may currently be working in a lead generation/sales role and are now looking for a career. We don’t require any previous experience as we offer on-site training, workshops, coaching and will support you through industry qualifications.
- You will be resilient and have an entrepreneurial mindset, as you will be working closely with management to plan campaigns that maximise new business opportunities and drive lead generation activity.
- You will be ambitious. We promote within; everyone in a leadership position started out as an Account Handler - We give you all the tools, all we ask from you is the desire to succeed.
Knowledge: Previous experience in retail, customer services, sales or a call centre background is desirable.
Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
